Deep green foliage and tall upright spires topped in summer with azure blue flowers. Loved by pollinators.
Commonly known as Bog Sage, which implies a moisture-loving herbaceous perennial. However, we have experience of growing this plant as part of the Dry Garden at RHS Hyde Hall in Essex. Here it thrived without any additional watering in the hot, dry conditions of this exposed Essex hillside garden.
