Forms a carpet of attractive soft, grey-silver foliage, with ‘Big Ears’ having larger leaves than the standard species. In summer, upright spikes bearing pink flowers. Excellent choice for the front of the border of a low water ‘dry garden’, or contrasted with dark purple foliage such as that of Verbena officinalis ‘Bampton’. Gently rake through plants to tidy up in Spring.
Full sun, well drained soil. Very drought tolerant once established.
