Acquired by Beth Chatto during a lecture tour of the eastern USA, and later named and introduced to the UK by her nursery. This Symphyotrichum sprawls across the ground, growing wider than it is tall, eventually becoming festooned with many tiny white flowers in autumn. This propensity to create snow-like white groundcover is what earned it the name ‘Snow Flurry’.
Full sun. Most soil types.
Height: 20cm - 30cm
Width: 40cm - 60cm
